Apple & Elderflower Gin ‘n’ Juice

February 3, 2018

Apple & Elderflower Gin ‘n’ Juice was my go to at university, but now I save it for special occasions. It’s so good it doesn’t even taste alcoholic. Which also meant it was pretty dangerous at pre-drink parties!

Last month I hit a pretty big milestone in my life and turned 25. A quarter of a century! Now that makes me feel a bit old. Anyway, I wouldn’t even think of drinking anything else to celebrate my birthday, unless someone were to buy me a bottle of Champers then I might change my mind 😉

It’s so simple, I’m not even going to write you an ingredients list…

Grab a short tumbler glass, preferably one that been in the freezer for 10 minutes. Add ice to half way up the glass and a 25ml shot of a gin of your choice. I used to go for Gordons Original at university but now the market is full of brilliant and innovative artisan gins I would either go for a shot of Pollination Gin from the Dyfi Distillery or Start Point Gin from the Salcombe Distillery. Both of which are full of flavour and complement our next ingredient. Once the ice and gin are in the glass, top up with Copella’s Apple and Elderflower Juice. Finally stir and garnish if you’re looking to add a bit of glamour to your drink.

Drink up and enjoy!
