On Location with Penbedw Lamb

On Monday I had the pleasure of spending my first day on location after lockdown with the Penbedw Lamb team. Thankfully we were gifted some amazing weather (especially after how the last couple of days have been). I had an amazing day with the family – tasked with photographing their new lamb boxes, products and beautiful estate.

Penbedw Estate

Spread across 2,500 acres of the Clwydian range in North East Wales, Penbedw is a family-run farm committed to sustainable practices. Born, bred and reared on the farm, their grass-fed lamb is the result of years of traditional husbandry and breeding expertise which produces the highest quality lamb. Tender and succulent, their meat is aged for 7 days to give it a unique and rich flavour.

During lockdown, the family decided to start selling their lamb direct to the consumer. So, whether you’re cooking a sunday lunch, or enjoying a bbq, Penbedw lamb boxes will be delivered fresh from our farm to your door.

Sustainability is at the heart of what they do at Penbedw. The grass-fed lambs graze freely on the farm and the meat is processed locally to ensure the freshest quality. Their lamb is delivered in a recyclable and biodegradable packaging by WoolCool. Woolcool is made from 100% wool that will keep the product fresh. They also run several sustainability schemes, including woodland replanting with Glastir.
