I’m a Food, Lifestyle & Event Photographer working with small local businesses to create enticing, high-quality photography and video content for digital and print media.

Photography has always been a part of my life. From an early age I spent weekends exploring North Wales with my Dad, practicing my craft and learning from him as he indulged his hobby. As I progressed through school, my photography did too, and I graduated from the University of Wolverhampton in 2014 with a BA in Photography.

During my university years, I specialised in Motorsport photography, capturing events for racing teams, including Ferrari's British GT team. This experience allowed me to gain the skills to capture events. I enjoy capturing events, whether it’s an open day or a wedding day. I get a thrill from capturing the memories and being able to re-tell a story.

More recently I have focused on creating photography for food and lifestyle businesses. Like photography, I have a passion for food and supporting independent artisan producers, and the joining of these interests was a natural progression. This led to me creating The Photographer's Table, as a place to share my images and highlight the businesses and people I meet and photograph.

As a photographer, I pride myself on my ability to manipulate natural light and my keen eye for detail. This stemmed my interest in lifestyle photography and capturing a moment as accurately as possible.

Awards & Features

In 2019 I was shortlisted for the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year award and selected as a finalist for the SAVEUR Blog Awards in the Best Photography category. My work has also been featured in Waitrose Weekend Magazine, Living Magazine and on the FeedFeed Instagram account.

My work has been nationally recognised with many images produced in both local and national publications and I have been pleased to create content with many local small businesses such as Black Mountain Honey and A Pesto Pizza.

In 2020 a project to create a book for James Sherwin’s Wild Shropshire restaurant allowed me to explore the connection between my photography and the written word, and I have welcomed the opportunity to develop further skills in design and typography.
